One of the most eagerly awaited platform improvements for many CatalogPlayer customers: it is now possible to create Books automatically from a PDF file, without the need to upload each page individually.
This way, the marketing department can quickly transform existing PDF catalogues into interactive digital books. This new functionality significantly reduces the time taken to create Books from the administration panel and speeds up their availability, optimised for use by the sales team on the move. The user imports the complete PDF file and the system automatically generates the Book pages, which can then be edited and organised.
Other usability improvements have also been made to the Books module:
- Unification for managing a Book in a single section.
- Quick chapter creation: add chapters from several PDF files for the organised composition of the Book.
- Page organisation: move, edit, add or replace pages
- Multiple product assignment to pages: we simplify and make product assignment easier.
